Acute Care
Acute Care typically refers to care received in hospitals. Therefore, products in our acute care line place emphasis on the patients’ needs in a short term environment. Acute Care treatment ranges from severe injuries and illnesses to recovery from emergency surgery to recovery from voluntary surgery and everything in between.
Examples of Acute Care facilities are hospitals, hospice, dialysis centers, ambulatory care facilities, and some long-term care wards.
Home Care
Our Home Care line is designed with those who will be providing care to the patients – often times family members – in mind. When a patient is transitioning to home life after being released from the hospital, we want family members to feel as comfortable as possible using our products, as they provide both comfort and prevent pressure related injuries. They can rest assured knowing that our products are great for home use.
Long Term Care
Long-term Care (LTC) is focused on individualized and coordinated services that promote independence, maximize patients’ quality of life, and meet patients’ needs over a period of time.
People often need long term care when they have a serious, ongoing health condition or disability. The need for long-term care can arise suddenly, such as after a heart attack or stroke. Most often, however, it develops gradually, as people get older and frailer or as an illness or disability gets worse.
Our C-Matt™ long term care line of products support the long-term care environment through both preventing skin breakdown and promoting comfort in all types of patients – those who are ambulatory and those who are not.
Institutional
C-Matt™ Institutional Mattresses come in two categories. The first is Healthcare, which covers mental health institutions, psychiatric wards in hospitals and long-term care facilities, and mattresses for enclosed bed frames.
The second category is that of halfway houses, camps, dormitories, jails, etc.

Labor and Delivery
Sometimes labor and delivery takes surprising twists and turns. Whether you deliver in the emergency room, or make it to the labor and delivery room, you will find our C-Matt™ products in both. The entirety of our Labor and Delivery product line is sealed to prevent cross-contamination.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. Our pediatric products range from warmers to incubators to climbers and onward. We incorporate the same prevention technology and top of the line materials used in our adult mattresses in order to provide the best mattresses for the little guys.
